Frankenstein Confidential is an ongoing mature-readers comic series set in the 1970s and featuring Dr. Victor Frankenstein as a consultant on macabre and unexplained criminal cases as he learns the methods necessary to one day build his infamous monster.

In the kick-off issue, Victor's investigation into a series of mysterious murders in which the victims' brains have been extracted leads him to uncover a hidden legacy of monsters. But as he digs deeper, he discovers a threat that may expose the twisted machinations behind his own forbidden endeavors.
